  • 2K11: Brennan Boesch

he's off to another fast start, and looks like he's played his way into semi-regular duty as he's now getting starts versus lefties.

Should we expect another petering out like last season, or can he be a cheap source of production for the remainder of this year?

Small sample size, but his walk and K rates are about even with last year. He's hitting a few more grounders, but otherwise the same as where he ended up last year. He's really not a bad player, he just doesn't walk a lot or hit for a ton of power, so he'll play when he's hot and sit when he's not.

If he does what he did last year he can be very valuable in leagues with reserves. Keep him in when he's hot and pull him once he falls apart. The question is can you count on such white and black results again.

another 2-for-3 tonight, and now he's batting 3rd for the Tigers. Is it time to assume he's going to be an everyday presence in their lineup?

with Trader Vic Martinez out, Boesch is locked in as the #5 hitter for the foreseeable future.

The Boesch-man with a 5-for-6, 2 HR, 5 RBI day. Now hitting .277 with 7 HRs, 32 RBIs and 38 Runs. Hitting 3rd almost everyday for the Tigers. Is he an everyday fantasy starter here on out?
