  • Ventura leaves injured

Threw a pitch and then grimaced in the follow throw after throwing his glove down and going to the ground. They're saying it's a wrist injury or cramp, but it looked very much like the last pitch Moore threw last season before he went down for the year (go to 1:28 mark to see Moore)

I didn't see it, but a few places are reporting he was in a lot of pain initially, but grabbing his wrist. Then, he seemed to feel better soon after. I'd be holding my breath if I were a Ventura owner, but if the reports are right, it sounds like he cramped up or strained something in his wrist.

      Breathe easy.....

Yordano Ventura had to leave Monday's start against the White Sox due to a right thumb cramp.
Well, that's a relief. Ventura initially looked to be in a lot of pain, but the injury is minor and he's expected to be fine for his next outing. The right-hander was terrific before exiting, allowing just one run over six innings of work.

Maybe he should cut back on the phone texting.
