  • Kendrys Morales or Ike Davis

For CI on a deep league team, which would you prefer.

Both look to get a lot more AB this year.
Davis is almost four years younger, but plays in a dreadful BA park and BA was never a strength.

Morales is the wrong side of 30 and has not had a good season since 2009, but he's in a great BA park, with solid RBI possibilities.

Is there anyone on the ash pile you could suggest?

I suppose it depends on what you need. I'm a big Ike guy. I don't think the AVG will be great, but if Canha or Butler plays 1B against lefties, he could give you .240-.250 and 20-25 HR in 450 AB. He's supposedly just now getting recovered from Valley Fever (what was that, 5 years ago?) but of course he was bothered by a back injury in ST, so who knows?

Morales could be completely awful or you could be right and he could approximate Billy Butler - decent to slightly useful AVG but low double digit HRs and good RBI.

I like Ike. At least he'll give you power if he struggles with BA. Morales will just flat out suck if he can't hit for BA
