reminds me of many many years ago, standing at the newstand reading a magazine about some new kid that the Mets were scouting & how they were keeping him a secret ... awesomely laid out article, but partway through it as it got more & more unbelievable I had to turn & check the date on the cover ... April 1 of course (the pitcher was Sidd Finch of course ... for those who have never heard that story you really need to look it up).
I just checked - it was 1985! man I'm old ...It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.Comment
