    15-day DL moves

    Can I be confident that most of the guys who are definitely going onto the DL will be placed there before Saturday? You know...the guys like Kenley Jansen and Denard Span who are most definitely going on the DL.

    This always plays havoc with the first faab run in my league.

    Last year the vast majority of DL moves were made on Saturday and Sunday.

    2014, 15-day DL transactions:
    Wednesday or earlier, 11
    Thursday, 7
    Friday, 6
    Saturday, 23
    Sunday, 37
    Monday, 1
    Tuesday, 2

    In 2013, most of the DL transactions happened on Sunday.

    2013, 15-day DL transactions:
    Wednesday or earlier, 17
    Thursday, 1
    Friday, 2
    Saturday, 8
    Sunday, 47
    Monday, 1
    Tuesday, 0

    In 2012, Thursday was opening day, and the vast majority of DL transactions happened on Wednesday.

    So it looks like your answer is no.

          yeah we drafted on the 14th due to scheduling and voted at the draft to have a faab run prior to opening day. ANd now everyone is DYING to make some pickups anyway
