I thought it might be fun to post the players and their dollar figures that surprised you at auction. It could be in a good way or a bad way.

NL-Only 12-team 4x4 Keeper League (25% inflation)
> Mike Stanton went for only $47...followed by Tulowitzki for $45....Only $2 difference????!!!
> David Wright $27 (blech)
> Max Scherzer $32 (seems like a bargain considering the inflation in this league) ... Followed by Strasburg, also for $32 (I'd rather have Scherzer)
> Alonso $17 (yuck)
> Wil Myers $16 (could be a huge bargain)

> Fernando Rodney $16 (apparently no one is a believer that he can do it again. In a 4x4 league, this is a really nice price.)

> Souza $19 (rookie hype, not worth the risk)
> Brandon Moss $30 (yuck) ... Prince Fielder $29 (nice price if he rebounds)
> Marcus Stroman $12 (I have no idea...Everyone was looking around the room dumbfounded. Both guys bidding insist they know he was hurt...Embarrassing.)
> Carlos Beltran $16 (discount on players over-the-hill)
> Justin Verlander $14 (half the room loved that price, half the room wouldn't have taken him for $10)
> Evan Gattis $22 (could be a nice bargain if the wrist injury doesn't affect him)
> Chase Headley $15 (Gotta thing he outperforms $15 in a league with 30% inflation)
> Greg Holland $27 (would have thought he'd be a $30+ player in a 4x4 league with this much inflation)

> One guy paid $17 for Nathan + $14 for Soria...$31 for the Detroit bullpen doesn't seem smart
