    Pick 2 pitchers to keep

    12-team mixed; 10 keepers.
    Ryu is in his contract year, but I dont extend starting pitchers.
    • Odorizzi $6
    • Tillman $5
    • Ryu $5
    • Smyly $4
    • Niese $2

          OK...I was leaning the same way - but Tillman vs. Smyly gave me pause.

            Smyly finished very strong, but I think fantasy owners have some recency bias. He's never pitched a full season (nor has Odorizzi).

            He'll be good. I think Odorizzi will throw more innings, have more Ks, and more wins. Smyly will have a little better ERA and whip. I think they'll be #3 and #4, back and forth. Smyly is a year older. I like him because he is a Razorback, but Odorizzi isn't a potted plant. Either one is a better choice than Tillman, IMO.
