    Melvin Upton

    Braves president of baseball operations John Hart said Sunday that B.J. Upton will go by his given name Melvin in 2015.
    Upton's given name is Melvin Emanuel Upton and he's apparently decided to go by that this season. Regardless of what he wants to be called, Upton will be trying to bounce back from a disappointing first two seasons in Atlanta when he's batted just .198/.279/.314.-Rotoworld

    I'll put the over-under on reverting to BJ at May 1. The first time he hears "and now, batting ninth, Melvin Upton", it's going to feel like a mistake.

              Melvin Upton Jr to be exact. Not sure if he will use the Jr suffix. Never realized that BJ stood for Bossman Jr. Bossman was his father's nickname.

                there was a blurb on mlb.com that his uniform will read "Upton Jr." on the back.
