  • Last Keeper - Lucroy, Cobb or Ventura

Shallow mixed league 6x6 (standard categories + OPS and Quality Starts).

So far I have a hitting heavy keeper list including: Goldschmidt, Abreu, Desmond, Seager, Carlos Gomez and George Springer. My current pitching keepers are: Grienke, Matt Harvey and Kenley Jansen.

For my last spot, would you keep:

Lucroy - $5/2nd year (can keep players for up to 3 years)
    Alex Cobb - $5/last year
    Yordano Ventura - $5/1st year

I like a cheap catcher although hamstring injuries are always tricky. There are alot of good catchers that will be in the auction though (Posey, Mesoraco, Gattis, Yan, Yadi, etc.).

If I lean towards the pitcher, Cobb is obviously the better pitcher today than Ventura but is the extra 3 years of Ventura weigh in his favor?

Just check on the Lucroy injury status first, but agree.

LOL. I am sooooooo glad the deal I was working ended up being pulled off the table at the last minute for a $18 Lucroy and I worked a deal for a $10 Danny Santana and a throw in.
I'm just here for the baseball.
