Thoughts on Cody Allen this year?

What would you pay for him at the aution?

Well I guess this means Cody Allen is a sleeper for AL only and mixed leagues this year.

I'm going long on him. I think he has serious stuff and will be given the opportunities. I also think he will tally enough Ks to help you almost as much as a lousy starter.

Missed this amidst chasing picks for Mock1.

Strong peripherals and a pretty high level of trust have him pretty well locked into the role. I see him as a step below Holland and Robertson, but not a large step. In my 10-team AL only, he's valued at about $17. In a 12-teamer, I could see him going for low 20s.

I like him a lot too. I think he's in that 2nd tier with Robertson and Melancon. 2 straight years with a K/9 over 11. He could even return value near the first tier (Kimbrel/Chapman/Holland/Jansen) at a cheaper cost.
