    After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

      ahh, but neither of those teams *started* the season with such a losing streak. i did say that a .500 team is likely to have at least one losing streak during the season (and even a .600 team will have one often), it just won't start that way.

              Wow...Lackey is simply horrible right now. If the Sox blow a game where Hughes gave up 6 in 2 innings, the meltdown should be epic.
