    Oh oh Matt Kemp

    Bleacher Report's Will Carroll hears that "rumors....are starting to get louder" about a possible failed physical by OF Matt Kemp.
    Kemp was all set to be traded to the Padres for Yasmani Grandal, Joe Wieland and Zach Eflin pending a physical. It's important to note that nothing is official, but the silence on the situation is curious. Kemp has suffered numerous over the course of his career. When he's healthy, he's been an elite bat.

    I really hope for the Pads fans that this is not true.

    heard that too, not to worried as Kemp just changed the uni on his Twitter page to him wearing Padres gear!

      Looks like he's already seeing game action. I'm not worried.

          Today is the deadline to get the deal done. Grandal was off the depth charts. He is now back on. I am not sure that means anything. But it does make one wonder.

          I like what the Pads are doing this year. I hope the trade goes through.

            This also affects the Jimmy Rollins trade. If this trade is not completed then the Dodgers don't get Jimmy Rollins for now.
            Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

                Dodgers will probably have to throw more money to the Padres to get them to take the deal. The Dodgers really need this trade to happen, not just so they Rollins trade happens, but because they thought Kemp was disgruntled before? I can only imagine it will get worse.
                I'm unconsoled I'm lonely, I am so much better than I used to be.

                  What will happen with Rollins?

                  Wow, everyone, uh, I'm super honored to have this opportunity to share this with you. I woke up to an email from Ira Glass (OMG!!!) who sent me the preview for the second season of the incredible podcast Serial. You guys aren't going to believe this, but they're looking into the story of the Phillies' own Jimmy Rollins and this weird Dodgers trade he either is or isn't part of!
