Those can be lengthy. Looks like Pirela, Margot and Francy should gets regular AB. Renfroe can come off the DL on the 1st but haven't anything.

That's the second time this year that Villanueva was robbed of a homerun. He almost hit one off of Kenley Jansen earlier this year. But, Chris Taylor reached over the wall for that one. BTW, Villanueva also tied Rhys Hoskins MLB record for most HR in his first 100 AB with 12. If not for Lagares & Taylor, he would have had the record all to himself.

With Franchy already there, why does Rotoworld think Jankowski will get regular ABs until Myers returns? How do the Padres' watchers view the time split among Pirela, Margot, Franchy and Jankowski over the next few weeks? (I assume this locks Asuaje in at 2B for a while longer since there's less reason to rotate Pirela in there.)

Pirela now at 2B. Asuaje now a late game defensive replacement and occasional starter. Things tend to be in flux with this team but Cordero and Villanueva are carving roles for themselves.

Agreed. Pirela has been playing 2B, so that helps. Margot has been putrid, so maybe he gets sent down?

No, he doesn't get sent down, IMO...he's slowly bringing his average up, finally over .200 now.
