  • This just in . . . my 10-team, NL 5x5 squad

Just got back from Las Vegas after drafting my team in 10-team, NL-only, 5x5, straight-draft (no $$) league.

    HDID?

Cs--Snyder, Lucroy (yes, both on DL); 1B/3B/CI--J. Miranda, R. Zimmerman, Polanco; 2B/SS/MI--Phillips, S. Drew, J. Lopez; OFs--CarGo, J. Upton, Rasmus, Bourne, Bill Hall; WC--Herrera; Ps--Hamels, Lilly, Bumgarner, J. Garcia, Wood, J. McDonald, Kuo, Broxton and Putz.

My thoughts: In retrospect, waited way too long to grab 1B; like my OF, starters and closers; willing to look for Cs on the waiver wire; took a flyer on Herrera based on my Rox friends in Colorado.

Would love to hear from you, others.

Not as dazzled by the SP lineup in a 10-team league. Broxton looked nearly lost again tonight, with some boobirds. Kuo handcuff a key. Putz leaves you in good shape there.

Not a 10-team guy, but offense ok I guess when the Cs come back? Seems respectable and with a shot, but not a 'wow, this team is awesome' vibe.

I like your OF and pitching. I am not sure why you roster Miranda in a 10 teamer even if you waited too long. I am not a Polanco fan at all. I am guessing the catchers and Miranda were your last three picks? I do not mind the catcher strategy. Lucroy won't hurt your and should be back soon. I like them, but you are going to need Phillips and Drew to have good seasons to finish in the top.
