the phillies are pretty meh this season, but Harper is everything I could have hoped for when they signed him. I never thought he would be "philly' but he has gone all in. It would suck if they manage to waste his whole tenure here.

Scary thing about how good he has been this year is that he is typically even better in the second half. And he does seem to have adopted a whole Philly vibe. Great player. Great fit.

I think you're off the mark (no pun intended....) with this one. Mark Appel seems like a pretty awesome, down to earth dude. His Twitter account is a must-follow, insofar as that may be a thing.
