He pitched 5 innings 2years ago. Last season he started 5 games. Hopefully he stays healthy but I'm not betting on that.

The Nats have both of the pitchers w the most losses this year: Joan Adon w 11 and Patrick Corbin w 10. Adon is a rookie making $700,000 this year. Corbin is on a 6-yr, $140 mil. contract ($23 million this year). He had minus 1.5 bWAR before tonite's bad outing (4.0 IP, 3 ER, 1 BB, 7 H). He has 2 more years to go on the contract. That is one bad-looking contract.

The Nats are tied w the A's for the most losses in MLB.

That is mucho dineros to turn down.

Yes, I believe he will...but not with Washington. And it's a pretty standard Nats contract offer, from what I read. Really backloaded, and the AAV isn't even 30 million a year.
