  • Angels announced that OF Dexter Fowler has a torn ACL. See you in 2022.

So, Walsh could see more time in RF when Pujols bumps him off 1B.

      • Well, now Pujols can play third and Walsh can play first!

Why can't they do this shit on Sundays.....

            • Angels manager Joe Maddon said after Sunday's game that Shohei Ohtani was sore after being drilled in the right elbow by a pitch during the first inning of Sunday's game against the Mariners.

              There goes Ohtani's two-pitching-start week.

Wow indeed. I wonder if they asked him to retire and he told them to stick it.

According to source, #Angels slugger Albert Pujols was upset that he wasn't in lineup to face #Rays bulk LHP Ryan Yarbrough last night, and that the decision to bench him came from front office, not MGR Joe Maddon. Pujols was 6 for 9 with 2 HR, 2 2Bs, 7 RBIs vs. Yarbough.

                    • not sure there's much of a market for his services ... maybe St.Louis with a one-day contract ...
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

                      • As an Angels fan this is the stat that will stand out the most.....

In St. Louis, Pujols never finished outside the top 10 in the MVP voting. In Anaheim, he never finished inside the top 10.

Albert was all time nice guy for sure, but I will always blame dumb ass Moreno for killing this team.

                        • Miguel Cabrera and the Tigers can only look longingly at Pujols' stats this year - as do Francisco Lindor and the Mets, to be honest

When he was an everyday player, Pujols probably faced more pitchers in a month than Ty Cobb did during an entire season.
