Brewers 3B prospect Brock Wilken suffered multiple face fractures after he was hit by a pitch on Thursday.
Long term, Brewers general manger Matt Arnold said the 21-year-old’s prognosis is good. Wilken did not sustain a concussion, but the Brewers’ No. 7 prospect will likely need surgery when the swelling subsides.
