I think it's time for Kate Upton to move on to a meaningful major leaguer. I know chicks dig the long ball, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean when they're serving them up! Verlander's ERA up to 6.75 with a whopping SIX HRs in just 22 IP. I think he's going the Timmah route to obscurity.

Dombrowski canned as GM according to ESPN. Alex Avila's dad takes over.
I'm just here for the baseball.

I thought the pizza guy was the GM.

Too busy designing an engagement ring for Kate Upton?

Seriously, that guy could never win another baseball game and he's still a huge winner at life.

Paul used to post here a lot more before he started at Fangraphs etc. and got a little too big-time for us little people, and he's a huge Verlander fan.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.
