  • Uh-oh. Ross Stripling has been scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday versus the Yankees due to right forearm tightness. Looking at his numbers it probably started tightening up last year.

Someone somewhere drafted during the last week of March, did a ton of draft prep using all the shark prep sites, spent a lot of capital on Romano, Karinchak and Fairbanks, and walked away thinking they just owned their draft.

I walked away feeling pretty good about having Rosenthal in all 3 of my leagues.

Yeah, I targeted him in my redraft league too.

                • One of my 50 round draft-and-hold teams has Yates, Romano, Hatch and Merriweather. And they are all on the DL.

You figured you had all your bases covered with that one.

This is why a handcuff is better than the whole jail.

I actually think I drafted Merry and Hatch as SP candidates, not as reliever specs. I liked the idea of pairing those two and hoping for the 5th starter, and then pairing Yates/Romano for the closer job.

I can't believe they have seven hits.
