Why would you do such a horrible thing? SW is the way to go my friend, and bring that damn Barolo with you...I'd even be willing to let GITH have a little taste.

When they say dry heat is preferable to hot and humid, I have to concur. It's really HOT, but the critters feast on slow old people in the humid weather and I've seen you Brian--you can outrun the noseeums...

My oven has dry heat, but I wouldn't want to live in it. 110 is too hot dry or not.

It's good if you want something half cooked.

If I do, I'll certainly bring the Barolo! We'll see in a couple of years - I suspect we'll actually snowbird in two or three places before making a decision.

I'll skip the Baralo, I'll suffer through with my Woodford Double Oaked.

Drinking Pio Cesare Barolo is like drinking art....and all of it is as good as a Bernini. Unfortunately, it's been almost ten years since I worked for an Italian firm, so I've drank all my Barolo and Brunello.

GITH was in touch with him, he said he was going to make a stop back here, and that was that

Unfortunately, I believe he's chosen to move on to another chapter in his life. The last contact I had was in early 2023 and then only with his wife. She mentioned he'd been extremely busy and had a new phone etc. All classic, he's chosen to step away sound bites.

I respected that and never attempted to reengage. I've not heard from him (even by proxy) since.

I wish him well and hope someday our paths may cross again.
