Have I told you about otters being the only marine animal that can lift rocks?

So I mentioned the Kale thread to Mrs.Gregg and before I could get the words out she said nope, no way, no Kale is coming into this house.
I said don't you want to hear the recipes? Nope, no way. You do what you want, I am not making anything with Kale. There are plenty of other healthy choices. We don't need Kale.

A thread about kale that has reached 4 pages in 7 days? That is both amusing and disturbing.
I've only had kale one way and that is cooked. Not my favorite food but not bad, actually. For me, better than spinach and many other cooked green vegetables.

fwiw I've had homemade kale caesar salad a few times - key is letting the dressing act as a marinade for the finely chopped kale (don't just toss & serve like you might with romaine, it needs at least an hour) ... might take it all the way from tolerable to good (not really, gregg's right, it just makes it tolerable).It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
