  • Dodgers closer for 2022?

What's the odds they resign Jansen to close for 2022?

If they don't sign Jansen then is it Treinen's job? Not Knebel's, correct?

Jansen's playoff performance may have an impact in his chances of returning. 50/50 at this point and with a reduced contract if he does.

Graterol has to be in the conversation.

I think that it would be between Treinan and Knebel at this point. Graterol is too young IMO, and hasn't been used in late inning situations too often.

Knebel, like Jansen, is a FA after this season. If Jansen does not get resigned, the job will be Treinen's in 2022.

Ah, that makes sense. I'd forgotten Knebel is a FA.

I dealt away Rowdy Tellez for Blake Treinen in late July in my NL league in hopes of him getting the role this winter. He certainly has the stuff for it.
