I love Cade Cavalli and Michael Harris as much or more than anyone on that list.

It doesn't seem like there is a no brainer type for the first 2 picks. Is it too late to trade down?

      seeing some love for Matos.

I could trade down, but already will be filling my farm dance card and come April I have two more first-round picks (and two more in the second round). if Marquez doesn't pitch this year, he may get the ax for one slot but a deal today would just be kicking the can down the road.

          Saw that. Great news!

JJ I would look Lawlar, Davis, Harris in that order for hitters. Good luck!

went with Rocker and Matos today - in a Mets-loving league, Rocker's potential trade value is supersized

farm stable now consists of: 3B Baty, SS Luciano, SS McLain, OF Carroll, OF HRamos, OF Matos, P Rocker, P Marquez
my three April 2022 first-rounders trending as picks 5-6-7 so far (one of them may place in top 3). no room at the inn for now, so Marquez better step lively pretty soon and a deal likely down the road

fwiw, our farm draft (2021 MLB first-rounders in CAPS)
            1. ROCKER
            2. Matos
            3. LAWLAR
            4. HOUSE
            5. DAVIS
            6. FRELICK
            7. Cavalli
            8. Rutledge
            9. Langeliers
            10. WATSON
            11. Priester

"SNUBS" of top 20 with MLB slot
            8. MONTGOMERY
            13. PAINTER
            14. BEDNAR
            18. MCGREEVY

rhd, we have limited minors slots in our NL league (4). It doesn’t seem as if Peyton Burdick or Kody Hoese make the grade for your list. Hoese has been awful; Burdick has shown big power but seems contact challenged. Any reason not to move on from these two?
On the AL side, Greg Jones took a huge jump (50 spots). He doesn’t seem to get much play in prospect circles, but seems like a burner with some developing power. Any insights or thoughts there?

I just traded a $2 Burdick for a rest of the year Melancon rental. I am hoping it nets me 2 points in saves.

Small risk in Melancon, if the Padres get a guy like Kimbrell or any other established closer with swing and miss stuff, mark might end up splitting the closers gig if not moving to the 8th or 7th innings.

                    Small chance, but possible

Yeah, Burdick and Hoese arent hitting well at all rt now and they each will be 24 this year. Altho it's probably too early to give up on them, I would think there are plenty better prospects you can replace them with.

Jones is an intriguing power/speed prospect that doesnt seem to get as much hype as he should, altho he has made some fantasy-oriented lists. His BA rpt says he has legit double-plus speed and gap power. They say he fits at SS and has improved his plate discipline. He continues to move up my list but may have trouble cracking the starting lineup on a prospect-laden Tampa team.

I just traded a surplus SP for Orelvis Martinez so I have to make a cut to my current 20 man prospect roster. Which of these should I cut?

                          Taj Bradley
                          Hunter Brown
                          Joey Estes
                          Otto Lopez
                          Curtiz Mead
                          Roby Tekoah
                          Eziquel Tovar

FWIW, I had them ordered on my list like this: Bradley, Brown, Mead, Tovar, Estes, Lopez and I didnt have Tekoah Roby at all. After looking up Roby, his stats look impressive in a small sample size. Still, he might be the one I'd drop. BA does not have him on their Rangers top 30. FG had him listed as a FV 40, which is not bad for a very young prospect, but doesnt excite me either. I'd tend toward keeping the hitters. It would be between Estes and Roby and I think I'd drop Roby.
