San Fran trading 1rst pick and other things to Green Bay for Aaron Rogers
If this happens, I'm going to have a REALLY fun time in Lambeau tonight. Unless a riot breaks out.
EDIT TO ADD: GB has told SF to pound sand, but despite the denials from the Packers management, local sports radio is saying they haven't hung up on Miami and Denver yet. And holy bat guano, Batman, the locals are going wild.

They should be pissssed at whoever screwed this up with Rogers.

He's got a good 4 seasons left, and Denver is ready right now to make a run. Good to great players in the skill positions, and a good enough defense to make it work. The future is now.

Meh...maybe. Like any divorce, there's plenty of blame to go around. As I've said on here before, Rodgers desire to get involved with player personnel is a non-starter for Green Bay and not something I agree with him on. OTOH, Green Bay should have been moving earlier on a contract restructuring/extension, though they have given Rodgers three different contract offers, all of which were rejected. While I didn't like the Jordan Love pick, Rodgers reaction to it has been pretty over the top.
