If you were the Texans would you trade Watson for the Bears first round (20th overall) pick. You would be done with the drama and get a very good player (not QB) with that pick. You end up with less but do not end up with nothing.
If you are the Bears would you gamble that pick to get the caliber of QB that Watson is. The gamble is do you believe Watson is innocent (or at least not going to jail). You would be gambling with fan base as well. You could end up with nothing, but you could end up with a top 3 quarterback.
It is not going to happen. But what would you do if you were them?
