Showtime series being filmed in town

    Showtime series being filmed in town

    Showtime is filming a series called "Rust" in town. The main building being used is right across the street from the Library so I get to experience the hoopla around the set.

    it's really very cool to see what goes on when filming a show. Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney are the stars of the show.

    For my little town, this is big time action!!

      from that show title - are the locals going to be pleased with the result?

      I mean, if it's "Nirvana" or "Paradise" I'd be less wary

          A horror movie was filmed in the library about 5 years ago, but has never seen the light of day...

                Personally, I think it's awesome to have that much activity in town, although they seem to be pretty well self contained. I don't know how much the crew contributed to the town's economy, but it's still a big deal.

                Unfortunately, people have been so closed minded about the filming, because instead of taking 2 minutes to drive to our grocery store, it was taking them 7 minutes to get through town. Some lady told me that there's no reason to have a movie filming in our town.
