It turns out that the Bears never made an offer for Carson Wentz. I can't help wonder why the Bears never came out with a denial when the rumors were flying about.

I saw a post that said If Nagy and Pace had no previous experience with Mitch Trubisky would they be trying to trade for him?

Other than Dak Prescott the free agents do not appear to be better than Mitch.

If Pace and Nagy want to keep their jobs they to win this year. It would seem that they would not want to rely on the draft to get a QB. For Nagy's scheme to work they need a mobile quarterback and one who is experienced. They need to trade for one.
