Im in last place but all the nonsense drops have made this team look decently respectable. I wonder if the hole is too deep, but I will just stand pat and let them try and come back.

same with my team (well, 11th) ... the hole I dug myself the first few weeks is pretty big, we'll see how this unfolds ... I couldn't get a decent 3B so just traded for Josh Donaldson, hopefully that's a start (for Staumont) ...

The deep hole is what I've experienced every time I've tried this --- I think I've done it four times now. I've never come back to win but did place second the first year I did it. I didn't try to trade as much as I should have and fell behind in counting hitting stats as well as strikeouts and wins on the pitching side. My experience is that you can vault up with the totally absent leagues who quickly lose interest and have multiple owners fielding lame lineups with DL players and the like. Active leagues, unless you are a fantastic trader, can be really tough.

Edit: I wonder....would dual free agent teams work in one league? We could compete against each other!

No way. The player pool is thin enough for one team, and you'd have competition for trades.

Do you pounce on a nonsense drop? I did with LGurriel last week and Grandal was dropped today. Isaiah K-F is my current C but could be moved to SS/OF/DH.

In a 1C H2H league with limited adds, is he a sit? Drop? SMurphy, Garver, Astudillo, Zunino best available.

I'd take Sean Murphy over Grandal right now for sure. Astudillo maybe but watch what they do with Sano.

ETA: If IKF is C eligible I would just stick with it. I dont have any of him...hasnt he been decent?

2 diff leagues. In my AFA league I have AKF who has been good, but Grandal is on the WW. In my H2H league, Grandal is my C.

Wanna know how good these leagues are? Dude made an OTB asking for closers, and the following two trades just got accepted:
1. Alex Reyes for Trea Turner.
2. Emmanuel Clase for Jose Ramirez.
