That had some interesting parts. I like the trend back towards industrial sounding drum machines within modern electronic music.

I think you'll like this. It's on my wife's workout mix. She started out singing in French only, she's from Montreal, but her English material is great. I really enjoyed this performance. It's from a Polaris showcase, so I thought it took balls to go all the way with her character in such a large venue.

Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

    • This is from the newest Marie Davidson album, and it has the same antagonistic tone that i love. The line "my life is anti-strategic" followed by a sing-song chorus in French, just embodies the don't-give-a-fuck spirit that she's singing about. I hope I get to see her live some day.

      • My family listens to a LOT of Taylor Swift... and generally she's OK, if not my favorite. But this... this is freaking amazing.

I found this interesting and liked it. Yet it is not something that I would go back to very often.

I do wonder if college Gregg would have liked it and blasted it through his speakers. I think he would have.

I think I will send this to m 25 year old daughter. I do believe she will really enjoy it.

I kept waiting for her to go Courtney Love - Rock Star on the song, but she never did. Disappointed.

              • So last night a friend of mine gave me three bags of Intelligentsia Coffee. Two of the bags were called El Diablo dark roast. Tried this morning and it is very good.

So looking up I came across this blast from the past.

                        Baby Blue?

It sounds vaguely familiar, but I didn't ever associate it with Badfinger.

                            • The new song from St. Vincent's latest album follows the melody of "my baby takes the morning train", and it's the standout of the album for me.
