I don't know if you intended to punt W's and K's, it's a very tough strat to pull off with the IP minimum. But you really need to score more heavily in hitting to make that work ... and finishing last and second-last in SB's is death. You can't punt six categories in multi scoring. I don't think you intended to punt SB's, so I guess that's where the main error occurred. That cost you the chance of a top 5 finish.

I was intending to punt Ks only. The problem is that a 1/4 of the teams punted pitching ratios, so the goals I set for wins and saves didn't end up being nearly high enough to overcome that.

The Gagne pick and the Tejada pick, I thought, really hamstrung me.
I was originally planning to take Verlander and Jim Palmer where I took Papelbon and Gagne. If I had taken Verlander instead of Gagne, that would have left me in much better shape later and I could have still taken Saves later. I could have used a wild card on Rod Beck or Armando Benitez (both unselected in VD 9) and possibly done better for myself.
Tejada used up my last Contemp hitter and that would have been very useful in overcoming my issues at V.
