Agreed. Taylor isn’t a keeper for you and neither is Yaz.

Accepted an offer of Khalil Watson $1 for Hoskins. Dumped Bobby Miller for Cade Cavali $5. Thoughts from the RJ crowd?

Tried trading Merrifield before his injury. Who else should I be shopping? And do I trade for minor leaguers since I now have at least 5? Or package them to try acquiring an upgrade?

Watson seems like he's at least 2 years away and he's having an awful campaign, and Hoskins was a good chip to add for a bigger package, but if you tried and no one bit, then who knows. With Wander out, maybe he was available, did you try that?

Merrifield should have been traded but if you made that attempt, then ok. His value is obviously shot now.

I think you made a mistake dropping Bobby Miller for Cade Cavali.

5 dollar difference in salary is significant. I am not sure who is the better choice

Probably neither. With just 4 minors spots available I can't imagine you want 2 of them to be pitchers.

Are rookies free until activation? If yes kind of a moot point. Maybe moot anyway neither will be starters for DJRadar. He will trade them before he profits from them (sorry DJ).

I like Bobby's team better than Cades.

I'd be ok with two pitchers if they are top 10-15 guys. I would look to get $1 rookies instead of $10 dollar rookies, though. If I understand the rules the 1,4,7, 10 salary is much preferable to 10, 13, 16, 19.

either way, in a 16 team league with 4 rookies you need to be going for top 10/top20 guys...not top 40 or 50

Not a moot point...eventually you have to pay them....better to pay less

Glad I could help you deciding on the better choice for you.

I will still take Dodger Bobby and his K rate for the extra $5. Turns out I will be. I have him for 10F as my only prospect pitcher to go with 3 prospect bats for next year.

From RHD's list, #18 Tovar is the only unowned top 20 guy. Expanding to the top 40, it's #23 Valera, #29 Chourio, #33 Harrison.

Would Merrifield for Lawlar $5 be good, once Merrifield is back healthy? He needs SB but won't move Harris, Carroll, or Walker.
