It may be a bit early, but something historic happened last night. For the first time in history a team is 30-0 before postseason. There have only been 11 30-0 teams ever. All of the others did so partly in NCAA tournament play. So here is to my hometown school.

For what it may be worth, their current rank of #2 is not the highest they have climbed. They were #1 back in the 1960s.
Also of personal interest, the KU Jayhawks clinched their 10th straight conference regular season championship. Next best live streak is 3 straight. Getting 11 will be difficult with a senior PG and two lottery picks moving on. Of course, they have said this before.
