I hate to break it to you, but you'll only have 37.59 after fees.

It all depends on how long you're going to live.

The closest to my profession is #98 (electrical engineer - my actual title is compliance engineer) although I seem to enjoy my job much more than my classmates. They may make more than me, but my hours are awesome and I get to travel to some incredible places. Plus, I don't have to sit under those damn fluorescent lights

It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

                    statistically speaking, that is.

Doing it tough at the moment. Busted my wrist 2 weeks ago onboard the ship so have been kicked ashore temporarily. Have 2 weeks to prove my fitness or get shoved ashore for 6-12months. Will take a financial hit if that happems of about 1/5th of my income. Not looking good at the moment. Home life is great though as i do get to spend some more time withthe wife and kids that i didn't think i would.
