    Addiction. Your views?

    One of the best articles I've read on addiction from the perspective of an addict. Russell brand can be a cock (self-confessed), but he has an amazing ability to tell a story.

    Russell Brand has not used drugs for 10 years. He has a job, a house, a cat, good friends. But temptation is never far away. He wants to help other addicts, but first he wants us to feel compassion for those affected


    I have a brother-in-law with a gambling problem ... hard to know what to do.

        This was a pretty big encounter from last year. Brand: addiction is a disease ... versus ... Hitchin: addicts are criminals who should be punished (criminalize addiction as a deterrent). Peter Hitchin's helps me understand the context of punk in the 1970's. Estabishment arseholes like that are thankfully a rarity these days.
