This is a political thread of a different stripe. I pointed out in the Warren Buffet thread that Ducks Unlimited is a place where the Left (conservationists) and Right (Gun Rights activists) not only meet, but work together for a common interest.

I must admit the idea of you and a cop working together is counter intuitive.

That being said, there is a scarcity of conservatives. I tend to take much of the fire from the left, and I qualify as a moderate.

Hmmmm, I think left-wing big government advocates desperate for new revenue streams to prop up their crumbling vote-buying schemes masquerading as social spending make more useful allies than the libertines, but all are welcome at the table, whether their support derives from the principle, the money, or the buzz.
