The first 4 albums from the Cult starting with "Dreamtine" are fucking awesome. Fucking awesome!! All 4 have a different vibe and musical slant. It's interesting when looking up "One Hit Wonders" that a few made TV countdown lists yet aren't one hit wonders:
- A-Ha - "Take On Me" - had another Top 20 in the US (The Sun Always Shines on Me -- never heard of it), and were a hit machine in Europe (14 Top 20 songs in the UK).
- The Knack - "My Sharona" -- "Good Girls Don't," off the same 'Get the Knack' album, went to #11 in the US
- "Pass the Dutchie" -- Musical Youth -- had another hit with Donna Summer ("Unconditional Love")
