Southern UT/Northern AZ is one of the most beautiful area of the world that I've been to: Monument Valley, Slot Canyons, the Wave, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell.....If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

plenty of dwellings at chaco. not as impressive as mesa verde (OJH's pic is Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde), but impressive nonetheless. and lots of controversy about just what they were used for. mesa verde is about 3 hours from chaco. durango is actually a great little city to visit, if you go to mesa verde."Instead of all of this energy and effort directed at the war to end drugs, how about a little attention to drugs which will end war?" I have never been to Chaco. I love Durango and the west slope. Great little museum. There is a lot of pioneer and mining history in that area.
Looking now, it is quite a bit further than I remembered. Still, well worth the trip.
