Former NFL fullback Kevin Turner died Thursday morning after a battle with ALS. He was 46 years old.
Turner, who played for Alabama and then eight seasons in the NFL with New England and Philadelphia, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in 2010.
