  • Week 3 WDIS - QB & DEF

I have 2 decisions to make this week, QB & DEF.

QB: A. Smith at GB or Tannehill vs BUF
DEF: CAR vs NO or NE vs JAX

    Thanks.
    14 Team 1/2PPR league (1 Keeper)

QB: Rivers (3), Stafford (5), Keenum (NA)
    RB: Kamara (11), McKinnon (7), Bernard (7)
WR: M. Thomas (NA), Crabtree (1), Shepard (8), Wallace (NA), Cobb (NA)
    TE: Olsen (NA)
    K: Lutz (7)
    DEF: JAX (7)

    (We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DEF)

You're definitely overthinking the QB. Tanny all the way. Tough call on the D. I think I slightly prefer Carolina

      Tannehill and CAR.

I figured as much but both websites that I use for projections have A. Smith rated higher than Tannehill.

Would your answers for DEF change if Luke Kuechly is OUT on Sunday. It sounds like he's doubtful for the game against the Saints.

Depends on your scoring system. If there's a decent component for yards/points allowed, I would play CAR regardless. NO offense has looked like ass even with Brees. NE D has been good but not great, which is all that is needed with their O, but they are giving up a lot of yards and points, and the JAX O is better than last year. If your D scoring is almost entirely turnovers/TDs-based, there is a better case for NE if Kuechly is out.

I think NE has a better chance for a shutout against JAX.

And i like Tannehill at QB against BUF.

Brees is OUT. Looks like I'll go with Tannehill & CAR. Thanks.

I don't mind muddying the waters. Alex Smith is the better qb play IMO. Fish v Bills could be a 12-9 final. Chiefs v Pack should combine for 50 pts pretty easily. Yes, the Chiefs are a running team, but they're more likely to be down by more than a TD in the 4th, making them more likely to air it out.

                    Car D all the way.
