I vote “not this good”. Probably ok, just not THAT good. Reminds me of Richard Hidalgo in 2000 (compared to later years).

Thanks. I should have remembered this post:
Joey Meneses appears to have a spot as a 1B/DH on a Washington team largely devoid of talent, but this is a 31-yr old guy who played 10 years in the minors. Most projectors are giving him 500+ ABs with 22-25 HRs, but I'm getting a Frank Schwindel-type vibe. He seems to be a player who could hit those projections or be in the

I was looking at the player game log on yahoo. It shows 4. But yeah, Yahoo box score shows 3.

I also checked MLB.com box score and it shows 4 steals for Thomas with an additional steal of 3rd base off of DeSclafani.

                            • According to Jesse Dougherty and Barry Svrluga of the Washington Post, Stephen Strasburg is set to announce his retirement from baseball at a news conference on September 9 at Nationals Park.

Strasburg will retire with a 113-62 record, a 3.24 ERA, and 1,723 strikeouts in 247 regular season starts. He's pitched just 31 1/3 innings since signing a seven-year, $245 million contract in December of 2019. Since then, Strasburg had surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome and last pitched in a game in June of 2022.

Worst contract ever? 31.1 IP, 6.89 ERA, 1 win.
