I just saw an interesting matchup, Amir Garrett facing Bryce Harper. Lefty on lefty, Garrett throws 5 consecutive sliders 2 inches down, 2 inches outside, all peppered in the same spot. Resulting sequence: swinging strike, swinging strike, ball, foul ball, swinging strike.
Garrett came in relief of Sims in the 3rd. Not sure if he's pegged to be a starter long term or reliever. But I enjoyed that matchup, thought it spoke to Garrett's upside.Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

After signing Castellanos for big money (4 years/$64 million) and Akiyama for starter money (3 years/$21 million), the Reds outfield has quickly become very crowded. And there are trade rumors about Senzel now. Winker is looking like the 4th OF if Senzel is dealt. It will be interesting to see how this all works out.
