Hopefully, Edgar Martinez can help get JRod out of his season long slump.

Mariners fire manager Scott Servais after nine seasons. Dan Wilson has been hired as the new manager.

Victor Robles and the Mariners have agreed to a two-year, $9.75 million extension with a $9 million option for 2027. Not bad for a guy who was released by the Nationals just 10 weeks ago.

Julio Rodriguez ankle x-rays are negative. He's day-to-day with a minor ankle sprain.

Uh-oh. Julio Rodriguez hurt his ankle on this play. No word yet of the severity.

Bryan Woo has been scratched from tonight's scheduled start because of a "similar issue" he had previously which had been described as "arm stuff" when he didn't throw his typical bullpen session between starts. Things are pretty vague coming from Scott Servais. Woo had a MRI today on his forearm. Stay tuned.

Most of the Mariner team is hovering around the Mendoza line sadly ironic. Robles can't be much worse

According to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, reliever Matt Brash “could miss an extensive amount of time, possibly the season.”

Brash and Mariners manager Scott Servais have yet to discuss the exact nature of the injury, Divish highlights “industry sources” who believe the injury will keep him out for a while.
