    Yeah, but that 3.500 OPS.

    • Anthony DeSclafani underwent season-ending surgery on Friday to repair the flexor tendon in his right arm.

In less than than 2 weeks, DeSclafani's elbow soreness went from expected-to-be-ready for opening day to done for the year.

Yes, but everyday is a close call with Buxton.

        • The Twins should sell T-shirts that say "Look out Byron!' lol.

But at least he did avoid the dreaded "we hope to see him pitch at some point this season" designation.

            • Matt Wallner is 1-for-15 with 12 Ks. I was hoping for a breakout campaign for him after last year's under the radar .249/.370/.507, but it looks like he might be a short-timer unless he rights the ship quickly,

              • Twins optioned INF Edouard Julien to Triple-A St. Paul.

The corresponding move is expected to be the activation of 3B Royce Lewis from the IL.

                • Royce Lewis keeps his 1.000 batting average going. He's now 3-3 on the year with 2 HR & 2 BB.

                    • Jose Miranda went 4-for-4, extending his Twins record for most consecutive plate appearances with a hit to 10. Over his last 9 games, he's a ridiculous 19-for-34.

Picking up the slack and then some for Royce.

                        • Jose Miranda tied the all-time record with a hit in 12 consecutive at-bats. The streak would end with a fly out in the sixth.

                          • Brooks Lee looks ready. If he keeps hitting, I don't know what they do when Lewis comes back. I don't know how they keep Lee getting regular ABs at the point, but it is a good problem for them to have.

They only have to bench Lee for those one week intervals when Lewis is healthy.
