Jose Ramirez hit his 38th home run tonight to go along with his 40 stolen bases. I know we've gotten spoiled watching Ohtani, but a 40/40 season is still a rare occurrence.

We're in a pretty amazing period of time for fantasy seasons. Ohtani may reach ~$70 of value, and Acuna did last year too. Those are the top 2 fantasy seasons for a hitter... ever. $50 are more common, normally there's ~1 a year. This year we have Ohtani, Judge, Witt AND Ramirez.

Jose Ramirez needs 4 more home runs to become the 7th player in MLB history with a 40/40 season. Obviously, he needs a huge final week with only 7 games left.

He also has a very good shot at becoming the 9th MLB player in history to join the 300/300 club. He currently has 252 career home runs and 242 career stolen bases. He probably needs 2 more good seasons to pull it off.

The Guardians are promoting Kyle Manzardo (again) on Sunday.

Mike Zunino announced his retirement from professional baseball on Wednesday following an 11-year career.

Zunino was selected third overall by the Mariners in the 2012 MLB Draft out of Florida University and wound up splitting the first decade of his career between Seattle and Tampa Bay before spending his final year in Cleveland. He hangs up his spikes and catching gear after posting a lifetime .199 batting average with 149 homers across 3,098 plate appearances.

Guardians win the first pick in next year's draft in the lottery. They moved from 9th to 1st. The Reds moved from 14th to 2nd.

The Guardians hired Stephen Vogt as their new manager.

Terry Francona confirmed Tuesday that he’s stepping down as the Guardians manager, though he will have a role with the team going forward.
