It's June 9th, and the $125m man has all of 18 RBIs in 231 ABs, a pace for a smidge more than 50 for the season. If he was a light-hitting utility player, most would say he was having a decent, if unspectacular, year. Backup catchers have better production than him, as do some guys who play primarily vs. LHPs.
