  • 2k13: new positional eligibility thread

Matt Carpenter played his fifth game at 2B today, although they haven't all been starts and apparently Yahoo cares about that.

If for some stupid reason you are in a league with 1-game positional eligibility (does anyone actually do that?) Robinson Cano played a bit of shortstop yesterday.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

    And Francisco Cervelli played second.

original roto rules allowed for 1-game pos. eligibility; a lot of leagues, mine included, still have this.

Jose Bautista obviously is now good at 3B.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

Evan Gattis would have gained 1B eligibility in 1-game pos leagues.

They also didn't have strikeouts as a category. And yet most leagues have evolved.

Seriously???? Is this a rotoworld typo??

                  Per Rotoworld:
Jackie Bradley is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Indians.
Bradley is currently mired in an 0-for-20 slump and will sit against right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez. He'll almost certainly head to the minors once David Ortiz (heels) is ready to return. Daniel Nava is starting in left field Tuesday while Jonny Gomes plays second base.
Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

                      Per Rotoworld:
Probably. Per ESPN, the gameday lineup will have Gomes at DH (and that kid Dustin...something at 2B).
