        I'm a little surprised that they have the same starting time for each of the 3 wild card series, i.e. Rays/Rangers in the early game each day.

            Jordan Mongomery spreads 6 hits over 7 IP and the Rangers shut out the Rays.

            Unlike the first month of the season, the Rays looked tentative and unsure. A usually solid defense committed four errors and gave up an unearned run.

              Jake McCarthy was removed from the Diamondbacks’ postseason roster after sustaining a right oblique injury before Tuesday’s game.
