    Toronto

Nothing to report here. And no, i never would have seen the past couple of weeks changes as plausible.

Actually the one move I'd still like to see is moving jp arencibia and a low prospect to texas for alexi ogando.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

The most implausible thing I see here is David Wright batting 7th and Mark Ellis batting 5th.

            Red Sox

Bring in some grinders and reset the attitude in Boston. Napoli at 3 years to catch and rotate at DH/1B. Sign Nick Swisher for two years with an overpayment to compensate for the short deal. Have Jerry Sands work out as a platoon player w/ Jonny Gomes. Ellsbury to stay healthy, Middlebrooks to develop into a middle of the order power hitter, one more year of production from Ortiz, and for John Farrell to fix his rotation. Lester, Buchholz, Lackey, all regain form/live up to expectations. Somebody (don't care whom) grabs the closer's job by the balls and puts a stranglehold on the late game situations.

For a risk upon risks -- Trade some prospects to Seattle for Felix Hernandez and get another guy who can anchor a staff.
Find that level above your head and help you reach it.

With KC saying they need to shed some payroll to make a deal like this work...what about Shields and Archer for Myers and Hocheaver?

Or "signing" David Wright, who is not a free agent.

yeah, that would be their OF around mid-season, what would they do for the first half............we all KNOW Myers would "need to work on a few things" before they brought him up.....
Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

Hey, some people participate and others come in to criticize the work that those who have participated have already done.
You took my team. It's the least I can do.

                        Team: Mets

Aside from new ownership, which meets "dream" but probably not "plausible", I wouldn't mind seeing the Mets trade David Wright. They have some good pitching in Harvey and Wheeler. Would like to see them sign Dickey for 2/$20 million, which is supposedly what he has asked for. Not averse to trading Dickey if they can get real talent. For example, why not Myers from KC?

The Mets have very few pieces to deal. Wright and Dickey are among them. Should spend money on free agents that have trade value, not just production. This team isn't going to contend any time soon. They need offense. Dealing Wright won't help that in the short term, but could help longer-term.

That's a little strong, but I agree that the ownership stinks.
