"Santana was placed on the seven-day disabled list before Saturday's game against Chicago with a slight concussion. He was hit in the mask by an Alex Rios foul tip Friday in the eighth inning and had to leave the game because of dizziness."
anybody think there is reason to be overly concerned here? the C word can be mighty scary these days... ask a morneau owner.
in the middle of working a deal for my $1 salty that would return (in part) a dead contract santana OR a $20 mauer as the catcher component (AL only 10 team 4x4). thought santana was the obvious choice, but second guessing with this news...
